about me
EXPERIENCE
My professional experience includes a history of work for a variety of non-profit organizations throughout Los Angeles. I have additional experience working with artists, actors, musicians and creatives. In addition to my private practice, I also work for the LA LGBT Center, where I have treated families, couples and individuals, of all ages, since 2012. I take pride in being of service to the queer community.
APPROACH & THEORETCIAL ORIENTATION
I take a postmodern approach to psychotherapy; I am especially fond of Narrative therapy and storytelling. This approach allows me to integrate my love for art, tattoos, music and film/theatre; all the personal ways I have used to tell my own story throughout my life. I also blend ideas from other modalities including body and person-centered, behavioral therapies and mindfulness based practices. My goal is to collaborate with you, help you tell your story and ultimately create a space to honor you holistically - body, mind, spirit and emotions.
